Mr. Richie Naso
Former CEO & Founder of Richard C. Naso Company & Floor Broker Network.
A Wall Street veteran of over 40 years and a member of the NYSE for 27. Richie started his Wall Street career in 1965 as a runner on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. In 1975 he was offered a seat on the NYSE. Richie formed Richard C. Naso Company in 1976, which specialized in the trading of IBM shares.
At the time IBM was 19.78% of the S&P. It was widely held, and a market and volume leader. He has built up a clientele that executed approximately 30% of the daily volume in IBM shares. His customers were major brokerage houses, hedge funds, CBOE market makers, prop traders and the IBM company themselves representing their buyback order.
In 1982, Richie formed Floor Broker Network (now FBN Securities). FBN opened offices in London and Switzerland to offer the same execution services to European institutions. FBN was entrusted with serious order flow from the largest Index Funds in the world and executed the first program trade orders in the history of the NYSE on April 19, 1983.
